That's the title of my new book on street photography. Sometimes gritty, sometimes ironic images taken on the streets of many cities in the U.S.,

I laughed out loud when I saw the title because it instantly reminded me of the day I decided to finally ditch my trusty old cotton briefs for a pair of moisture‑wicking performance underwear before a marathon training run. I’d always thought “just wear something comfortable” was enough, but halfway through a 10‑mile stretch I was drenched and stuck to the inside of my leggings. The next morning I Googled alternatives and splurged on a brand that promised breathability and a snug, supportive fit. The difference was night‑and‑day: no chafing, no soggy feeling, and I actually felt more focused on my pace rather than adjusting my clothing.
