Joe’s fees are reasonable, he is responsive and responsible, and Joe has a special knack for putting subjects at ease, whether for commercial work or candid photography.

Joe is also a seasoned marketing guy, specializing in business-to-business marketing, so he can help northwestern Wisconsin firms identify and capture the most relevant images for their website, newsletters, email campaigns, social media, publicity or collateral. Joe also shoots industrial and product photography.
A passion for photography
Joe’s passion for photography began at age 14 when he won an Argus twin reflex camera kit in a drawing at a movie theatre. He is also a fine art, nature and landscape photographer and a photo encaustic (mixed media) artist.

For commercial or family photography services: After an initial discussion, an estimate range is given based on agreed-upon parameters. Unless parameters change, the range is guaranteed to not go above the maximum of the range. If parameters change, the estimate is revised. A deposit of 50% of the lower range of the estimate is due before the shoot. The balance is due 15 days from delivery of final photo files. In special circumstances, licensing fees may apply for some photos.

ABOUT JOE HENDERSHOT
Joe Hendershot is a professional fine art photographer and mixed media artist who in recent years has produced works using the photo-encaustic method. This complex technique, using Joe’s original photography as a base, calls for multiple layers of beeswax meticulously brushed over the image. Joe will often apply an additional image printed on fine tissue paper to produce a soft and often ethereal quality to the composition. Each piece is one-of-a-kind.
Joe’s inspiration comes from rural scenes and structures, and the fleeting images of nature surrounding the northwestern Wisconsin woods, lakes and streams near Spooner, Wisconsin, where he maintains his home and studio. Prior to moving to Wisconsin, Joe maintained a studio and exhibited extensively in St. Paul, Minnesota.
